Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days and nights with 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period (days: Sat-Sun, nights: Fri-Sat)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to surgical, ortho, and oncology patients on a 32-bed MedSurg unit
Monitor and interpret tele strips with precision while titrating AMIO and CARDIZEM
Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, and multidisciplinary teams for seamless patient outcomes
Float to tele units to support the broader team
Advocate for patients undergoing knee/hip replacements, urological, and abdominal surgeries

Qualifications

Active RN license with minimum 2 years recent MedSurg or TELE experience within past 6 months
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam and Sim Lab orientation
Must live 50+ miles from facility and provide driver's license

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in reading tele strips and titrating AMIO/CARDIZEM
Strong TELE monitoring skills using GE systems
Proficiency in managing post-surgical ortho, oncology, and general surgery cases
