Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct independent bedside swallow evaluations to improve patient safety and recovery
Perform comprehensive communication evaluations and follow-ups that make a real difference in lives
Administer standardized tests in outpatient settings to guide effective therapy plans
Deliver skilled care across inpatient and outpatient areas at a Level 2 Trauma Center
Collaborate with rehab aides and managers to provide top-notch patient outcomes

Qualifications

CCC-SLP certification required (CCC-A not accepted)
BLS certification
COVID vaccine required
Not currently employed full time, part time, or PRN with CommonSpirit facilities including CHI or Dignity within the past year

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent required for CCC-SLP

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in bedside swallow evaluations and follow-up
Proficiency in communication evaluations
Skilled in outpatient standardized test administration
Experience with post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head and neck cancer patients
