Roles & Responsibilities

Conduct independent bedside swallow evaluations that make a real difference in patient recovery
Perform comprehensive communication evaluations and follow-ups to enhance patient outcomes
Administer standardized tests in outpatient settings with precision and care
Deliver impactful therapy across inpatient and outpatient areas at a Level 2 Trauma Center
Collaborate with rehab aides and managers to provide top-tier patient care

Qualifications

CCC-SLP certification required (CCC-A not accepted)
BLS certification
Experience with bedside swallow evaluations, communication evaluations, and outpatient standardized test administration
Recent availability - not full time, part time, or PRN with CommonSpirit facilities in the past year

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in post-concussion, CVA, TBI, and head & neck cancer patient care
Skilled in acute inpatient, rehab, and outpatient settings
Proficiency in managing 7-8 outpatients or mixed caseloads daily
