Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating including weekends and holidays based on unit needs

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to PCU patients including those with CVA, STEMI, CHF, and respiratory distress
Monitor tele strips and manage critical drips like heparin, amiodarone, and milrinone
Float seamlessly to support PCU patients across multiple floors
Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, IV team, and RT for optimal patient outcomes
Lead as charge nurse when needed and contribute to a high-turnover, cohesive team environment

Qualifications

Active WA or Compact RN License
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
PCU nursing experience with telemetry monitoring
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system a plus

Education

RN degree from an accredited nursing program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in PCU nursing and floating between units
Proficiency with cardiac drips, tele monitoring, and strip reading
Bonus points for CAPD peritoneal dialysis experience
Strong team player skills in a fast-paced, busy environment
