Shift Type: Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care including mother recovery and newborn transition
Monitor fetal heart rates and manage high-risk situations like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Perform newborn assessments and stabilize infants until stable
Assist with C-sections, inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil, and OB emergencies
Deliver couplet care and support families through meaningful birthing experiences
Round daily on patients to ensure safety and exceptional experience

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery experience
BLS, NRP, and Fetal Monitoring training required
Experience with OB emergencies preferred
Comfortable in 1:1 patient ratios during active labors and C-sections

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Current RN licensure

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in fetal monitoring and inductions
Skilled in newborn transition and assessment
Proficient handling shoulder dystocia, PP hemorrhage, and OB emergencies
Familiarity with Meditech documentation and CPN central monitoring
Strong team player in a close-knit, experienced unit
