Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36 guaranteed hours weekly with rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver critical care to MICU patients, managing ventilators and advanced equipment like NXStage and Arctic Sun
Perform life-saving bedside procedures including central lines, thoracentesis, dialysis caths, cardioversions and intubations
Monitor cardiac output and respond swiftly to high-acuity needs, making a real difference every shift
Collaborate with the team on acuity-based assignments to provide top-tier patient care
Document accurately in Meditech while floating as needed to support the unit

Qualifications

Active RN Texas license (no temp licenses accepted)
2+ years MICU/MSICU experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
CCRN preferred for those standout candidates

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with ICU equipment including ventilators, NXStage, Arctic Sun, and GE Cardiac Output monitors
Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Strong skills in high-acuity critical care procedures and patient monitoring
