Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shifts, 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Masterfully compound and dispense medications using DoseEdge to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize inpatient pharmaceutical care
Monitor drug therapies and prevent errors in a fast-paced 600-bed environment
Utilize Meditech EMR to maintain accurate records and streamline workflows
Thrive in high-volume operations serving a daily census of 500-600 patients

Qualifications

Active Pharmacist license in good standing
Minimum 1 year of pharmacy experience
Must-have hands-on experience with DoseEdge pharmacy automation
Texas license or ability to obtain quickly for travel assignment

Education

PharmD or equivalent from accredited pharmacy program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in DoseEdge for efficient IV compounding
Proficiency with Pyxis ES automated dispensing systems
Strong command of Meditech electronic medical records
Fast-paced decision-making in busy inpatient settings
Attention to detail that keeps patients safe and smiling
