Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call requirement of one weekend a month and 2-3 days per week

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and circulate in high-stakes CVOR cases like CABG, valves and TAVR
Support open heart procedures with precision and calm under pressure
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 9 dedicated staff members
Respond punctually to calls within 30 minutes to keep surgeries on track
Utilize Meditech EMR to document life-saving interventions
Assist in Level 2 trauma vascular and thoracic procedures

Qualifications

CST/ORT certification with 2+ years of experience
Proven cardiac, vascular and thoracic surgical expertise
Punctual with 30-minute call-back reliability
Flexible and team-oriented personality that thrives in small units

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Operating Room Technician (ORT) credentials

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in scrubbing cardiac and vascular cases
Proficiency with Meditech electronic medical records
Familiarity with advanced procedures like EVAR, TEVAR and LVAD
Comfort with open heart equipment and Level 2 trauma coverage
