Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Three 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM with call averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift per 8-week period

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub and maintain sterile fields during complex total joint replacements and multi-level spine fusions
Assist with cutting-edge Xi robotic cases in GYN, colorectal, and general surgery
Advocate fiercely for patient safety in a fast-paced 11-OR suite
Collaborate seamlessly with RNs, surgical techs, and support staff for optimal outcomes
Master Epic EMR to keep procedures running smoothly

Qualifications

2+ years of OR experience
NBSTSA certification required
Current BLS certification
Patient advocate mindset
Team player with positive energy

Education

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST/ORT) through NBSTSA

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in total joints, neuro cases, and Xi robotic systems
Strong sterile technique and OR workflow knowledge
Experience with variety of OR beds and advanced equipment
Comfortable in high-volume surgical environment
