Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients with attention to safety and dignity
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per facility policy
- Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate changes to the care team
- Collaborate with nurses, providers, and support staff to create and follow care plans
- Support patient and family education in an approachable, clear manner
- Participate actively in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care
Qualifications
- Current LPN license in New Hampshire
- Completion of an accredited practical/vocational nursing program
- Basic Life Support (BLS) / CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
- Comfortable with medication administration, documentation, and basic assessments
- Professional, reliable, and patient-centered attitude; team player mindset
- Previous LPN experience preferred but new grads from accredited programs are encouraged to apply
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High school diploma or GED required
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong patient assessment and observation skills
- Medication administration and IV/PO familiarity as required
- Clinical documentation and basic electronic medical record use
- Infection prevention and control practices
- Good communication, time management, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly in busy situations
