Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and document accurately in the patient record
Perform routine assessments and report changes to the care team promptly
Support RN staff with treatments, wound care, and clinical procedures
Maintain clear, professional communication with patients and families
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff
Contribute to a positive unit culture by collaborating with colleagues

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania required
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or obtained upon hire
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program
Valid immunizations and ability to pass background and drug screening
Comfortable using electronic health records and basic clinical equipment
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

Completion of accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Basic patient assessment and vital signs monitoring
Wound care, ADL assistance, and routine clinical procedures
Infection prevention and control standards
Ability to work within interdisciplinary teams
Familiarity with electronic charting and care documentation
