Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures using advanced imaging equipment
• Assist physicians during coronary and peripheral vascular interventions, including balloon pumps, Impella, and rotational atherectomy
• Operate fluoroscopy, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamic monitoring systems (Merge Hemo)
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
• Respond to STEMI alerts and manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity environment
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including cardiologists, RNs, and RTs to deliver optimal patient care

Qualifications

• Active ARRT certification with Fluoroscopy license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology
• Proficiency with coronary interventions, balloon pumps, and Impella
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Ability to take call and respond within 30 minutes
• Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Experience with Siemens/Philips imaging systems preferred
• Knowledge of Merge Hemo hemodynamic monitoring system a bonus
• Comfortable with critically ill patients and rapid-paced procedures
• Familiarity with sterile technique and radiation safety
