IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Stockton, California

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with on-call requirement, rotating including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology and cardiac catheterization procedures
Assist physicians with coronary and peripheral interventions
Operate advanced imaging equipment such as Siemens/Phillips systems
Manage balloon pumps, Impella devices, and other hemodynamic support
Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced Cath Lab/IR setting
Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety during procedures

Qualifications

Registered Technologist (ARRT) with Fluoroscopy certification
Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab
Experience with coronary interventions, balloon pumps, and Impella required
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Siemens/Phillips imaging equipment
Knowledge of Merge Hemodynamic system preferred
Ability to handle critically ill patients and STEMI cases
Understanding of sterile techniques and radiation safety
