Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with rotational call after hours; Friday 4:00 PM through Monday 7:30 AM call coverage

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $83 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform 2-4 interventional radiology cases daily across multiple campuses
Assist with dialysis catheter placements, IVC filters, and TIPPS procedures
Support CT-guided biopsies and various image-guided interventions
Operate GE Innova systems, MedRad injectors, and Angiojet devices
Provide on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies and weekend needs
Collaborate with the IR radiologist and care team to deliver excellent patient outcomes

Qualifications

ARRT (RT)(R) certification required
VI certification preferred
Experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
Comfortable working with adult and inmate patient populations
Ability to support multiple campuses and adapt to varying case volumes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of interventional radiology procedures and protocols
Proficiency with Cerner and RadNet EMR systems
Skilled in operating GE Innova and related angio equipment
Excellent communication and teamwork across departments
Ability to manage on-call responsibilities and respond promptly
