Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to trauma, cardiac, and stroke patients in a 33-bed ICU
Titrate cardiac drips, insulin, and sedation medications
Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, document strips
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including respiratory therapists and nurse aides
Float to PCU and MedSurg units as needed with appropriate patient ratios

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license required for distance verification

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating critical drips
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
