Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to patients in a rehab setting
- Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming) to support patient dignity
- Support mobility and transfers, following facility safety protocols
- Monitor patients' comfort and report changes in condition to nursing staff
- Document care provided accurately and timely in the patient chart
- Collaborate with the rehab team to help patients meet therapy goals
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (aligned with core skill requirement)
- Ability to work the assigned night shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical environment
- Background check and any facility-required clearances/current immunizations
Education
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Completion of an approved GNA training program
Knowledge & Skills
- Basic patient care techniques and safe transfer practices
- Familiarity with infection control and patient safety protocols
- Comfortable working in a rehabilitation setting and supporting therapy plans
- Reliable documentation and time-management skills
