Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting) with dignity and respect
- Provide compassionate bedside care and emotional support to residents and families
- Take and document vital signs accurately and communicate changes to the clinical team
- Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics and assistive devices
- Maintain clean, safe resident environments and follow infection control protocols
- Document care thoroughly and participate in care planning and shift handoffs
Qualifications
- Current GNA certification (required)
- CPR/BLS certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Comfortable working the 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM night shift
- Able to pass background check and drug screen per facility policy
- Great communication skills and a team-first attitude
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an approved GNA program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care and ADLs
- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
- Good documentation skills and attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for residents
