Location: Brooklyn Park, MD

Start Date: 06-16-2026

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Night shift, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Monday-Friday, with potential weekend shifts)

Candidate Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to geriatric residents including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor and report vital signs and changes in condition to nursing staff
Maintain a clean and organized environment for residents
Support residents with meals and hydration as needed
Build meaningful relationships and promote dignity and independence

Qualifications

Current Maryland GNA (Geriatric Nursing Assistant) certification required
CPR certification (BLS) preferred
Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing a plus
Must be compassionate, reliable, and a team player

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of geriatric care principles and safety protocols
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with excellent observation skills
