Location: Brooklyn Park, Maryland

Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (Second Shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $17 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care for geriatric residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Assist with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
Monitor vital signs and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Support residents' emotional well-being through engaging conversations and activities
Maintain a clean and organized environment to promote health and dignity
Collaborate with the care team to deliver personalized care plans

Qualifications

Active Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification in Maryland
Current CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Must pass a background check and drug screening

Knowledge & Skills

Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs
Basic knowledge of infection control practices
Team player with a positive attitude
