Roles & Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments per approved protocols and state laws.
• Document patient care accurately and timely according to standards.
• Perform thorough assessments, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient care.
• Develop and execute individualized patient care plans in partnership with physicians and patients.
• Participate in department performance improvement activities and shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units to support patient care continuity.
• Apply critical thinking to ensure patient safety and enhance patient experience.
• Engage in professional nursing development and peer review processes.

Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license required
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (AHA Provider Level)
• TNCC or TNS certification required
• Education verification and flu vaccination required
• Ability to work night shifts and travel between Beloit and Janesville locations
