Location: Great Falls, MT

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM; Monday-Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Call coverage approximately 10-12 days a month

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms that help cardiologists make life-saving decisions
Conduct stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms to assess heart function under pressure
Assist with transesophageal echocardiography procedures for detailed cardiac imaging
Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and promptly notify cardiologists of examination results
Collaborate with cardiologists to customize non-standard examinations and determine optimal technical factors

Qualifications

Active state license required
Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience
Strong skills in transthoracic, stress, dobutamine stress, and transesophageal echocardiograms
Ability to work independently and make sound clinical decisions
Willingness to participate in call rotation and holiday coverage

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in adult echocardiography techniques
Proficiency with stress and dobutamine stress protocols
Comfort assisting with transesophageal procedures
Strong communication skills for cardiologist collaboration
Ability to adapt technical factors for unique patient needs
