Location: Bryan, Texas

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM with rotating weekends (2 full weekends per month)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for a diverse patient population including ortho, neuro, critical care, and oncology in an acute care setting
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to maximize patient function and mobility
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Participate in weekend rotations and holiday coverage as needed
Supervise and delegate to PTAs and rehab techs

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist license in Texas
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Acute care experience preferred but not required
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech EMR
Knowledge of acute care physical therapy practices
Ability to manage a high patient volume (1 eval per hour)
Strong communication and team collaboration skills
