Location: Bismarck, ND

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with on-call 1-2 weeknights and every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer conscious sedation and monitor patients closely during interventional radiology procedures
Perform pre- and post-procedure assessments and patient education
Assist with a variety of IR procedures including stroke thrombectomy, embolizations, biopsies, and drain insertions
Collaborate with interventionalists and techs to ensure safe and efficient patient care
Document accurately in EPIC and operate Philips Xper hemodynamic system
Take on-call responsibilities for after-hours emergencies

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to start
Moderate sedation experience is a must
Minimum 1 year of IR or critical care experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with on-call and rotating shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Conscious sedation management
Charting and circulating in interventional radiology
EPIC and Philips Xper (Hemo) proficiency
Siemens C-Arm familiarity
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Knowledge of stroke thrombectomy and embolization procedures
