Shift Type: Variable shifts, 40 hours per week plus call as needed.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $70 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality adult echocardiograms including 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW
Conduct valvular disease studies, color flow mapping, and cardiomyopathies assessments
Execute 2D and 3D transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs)
Evaluate congenital heart disease, pericardial disease, and effusions
Collaborate with cardiologists to provide accurate diagnostic results
Maintain equipment and ensure a safe patient environment

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting
Active RDCS certification (ARDMS or CCI accepted)
Current AHA BLS certification
Proficiency in adult echocardiography including advanced techniques
Ability to work variable shifts and take call
Pediatric experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in 2D-Mode, Doppler CW & PW, and color flow mapping
Skilled in valvular disease, cardiomyopathies, and congenital heart disease studies
Proficient in 2D and 3D TEEs
Experience with Canon i700 and i900 equipment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
