Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (0630-1830 and 1830-0630), every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in a 33-bed ICU
Monitor and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, sedation, and other critical medications
Interpret cardiac rhythms and document strips using GE monitors
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including RT, nurse aides, and techs
Float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, maintaining safe patient ratios

Qualifications

Current and valid RN license in Nebraska or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience preferred
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at submission
Valid driver's license (must be outside 50-mile radius from facility)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating vasoactive drips and sedation
Experience with ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips
Comfortable with floating to other units as needed
