RN (Registered Nurse) - Long Term Care

Location: Garrison, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and every other major holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Take charge of the unit and lead the care team
Administer medications accurately and safely
Perform wound care with attention to healing
Monitor residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
Collaborate with PT and social worker designee
Ensure a clean and presentable environment

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Minimum 1 year of long term care experience
Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
Must meet 50-mile radius rule - no local candidates within 50 miles of Garrison, ND

Knowledge & Skills

Strong medication administration skills
Wound care proficiency
Charge nurse experience
EMR experience with Matrix
Compassionate communication with residents and families
