Location: Dickinson, North Dakota

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to laboring mothers and postpartum patients
Manage titratable drips including Magnesium, Oxytocin, and other medications
Assess and monitor fetal heart tracings using OB Trace Vue
Collaborate with surgical team during C-sections, circulating for the baby
Provide neonatal support including CPAP, BiPap, and high flow oxygen
Float to other departments as needed for helping hands and patient sitting

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Ability to pass fit testing (facial hair may require removal)
Strong teamwork and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of AWHONN guidelines for nurse-to-patient ratios
Proficiency in titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Oxytocin, etc.)
Experience with electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) systems
Skills in neonatal resuscitation and respiratory support
Independence and critical thinking in a rural hospital setting
