Location: Kearney, NE

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM to 6:30 AM (Days/Nights), every other weekend, minimum 2 holidays per contract

Hours per Week: 48

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide top-notch care to a diverse patient population including trauma, cardiac, stroke, and sepsis cases
Titrate critical drips like cardiac and sedation medications with confidence
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, collaborating with telemetry techs
Float to PCU or MedSurg when needed, maintaining safe nurse-to-patient ratios
Work as part of a supportive team that values your expertise

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Driver's license and ability to pass 50-mile radius rule
Comfort with open-book orientation exam (pass at 90%)
Artificial nails must be removed for patient care areas

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in titrating drips (cardiac, insulin, sedation)
Telemetry strip interpretation and documentation
Strong assessment skills for critical care patients
Ability to adapt to floating between units
