Shift Type: 12-hour shifts with rotating days and nights, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process
Provide comprehensive care for labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
Monitor fetal and maternal status using bedside fetal monitors
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on postpartum care and newborn needs

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP experience
Active Alaska RN license required
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis Supply Stations, and bedside fetal monitoring
Strong knowledge of LDRP nursing standards and protocols
Skilled in fetal heart rate interpretation and maternal assessment
Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and effectively
