Candidate Pay Rate: $55 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic conditions, focusing on upper extremity injuries such as shoulder repairs, wrist and elbow tendonitis and fractures
Provide occupational therapy services in outpatient, acute inpatient, acute rehab, and transitional care settings
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Document patient progress using ReDoc and Meditech systems accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, home programs, and injury prevention

Qualifications

Current Oregon Occupational Therapist license required
BLS certification from AHA
Experience in outpatient orthopedics, specifically upper extremity therapy
Ability to manage a caseload of 12 patients per day
Lymphedema training is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation of hands, elbows, and shoulders
Strong clinical reasoning and treatment planning skills
Proficiency with ReDoc and Meditech documentation systems
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Capability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
