IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Los Angeles, California

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week; On call basis 1-2 weekends a month, 30-minute response time

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures alongside a skilled team
Operate advanced imaging equipment to assist in minimally invasive treatments
Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures
Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR system
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver excellent outcomes

Qualifications

Current ARRT-VI certification
Active California Radiologic Technologist license
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Fluoroscopy permit
At least some experience in interventional radiology? No specific years required, but proficiency is key

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in interventional radiology techniques and equipment
Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Strong understanding of radiation safety and sterile technique
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to respond quickly and effectively in on-call situations
