Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in the ED, MedSurg, and swing bed units
Titrate drips and manage telemetry monitoring for acute patients
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to ED holds as needed and take charge nurse responsibilities
Maintain accurate patient records and communicate effectively with patients and families

Qualifications

At least one year of recent MedSurg experience required
Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current)
Ability to titrate drips and read telemetry strips independently
Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in managing acute care, telemetry, and emergency department patients
Skilled in titration of common IV drips and use of respiratory equipment (NEBS, O2, CPAP)
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for swing bed and ED holds
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities in a fast-paced environment
