Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, shift negotiable, one weekday call per week, one weekend call per month (Friday-Sunday rotation)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and limited scrub support for open-heart, TAVR, endovascular, and thoracic procedures
Collaborate with surgeons and the CVOR team to deliver safe, high-quality patient care during complex cardiac cases
Prepare the operating suite, verify equipment, and ensure seamless case flow for 1-2 heart cases daily
Respond to call within 30 minutes and support the team during after-hours emergencies when needed
Float to General OR when CVOR volume is low, expanding your skill set across multiple specialties

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Open Heart and/or Endovascular experience strongly preferred
Epic charting experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
Ability to scrub in to hold the heart and assist with chest closure
Comfortable floating within Zone 1 facilities when needed
Excellent communication and teamwork in a fast-paced OR environment
