Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of CT procedures safely and accurately, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis
• Provide compassionate patient care throughout imaging procedures — comfort and safety first
• Operate, calibrate, and help maintain CT equipment according to protocol
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, nursing staff, and other team members for seamless patient care
• Document procedures, maintain accurate patient records, and follow reporting protocols
• Adhere to radiation safety, infection control, and departmental policies at all times
• Assist with patient positioning and safe lifting/transfer practices (per department guidelines)

Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State license as a Radiologic Technologist (required)
• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) (required)
• Current BLS certification (required)
• One (1) year CT experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with medical staff and patients
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role (lifting and positioning per job description)

Education

• Current Hawaii State Radiologic Technologist license
• Current ARRT CT certification
• Current BLS certification

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support accurate imaging
• Familiarity with CT procedures, protocols, and imaging best practices
• Competence with radiologic technology principles and patient safety
• Good clinical judgment and the ability to communicate findings clearly
• Comfort working in a clinical environment exposed to communicable diseases
