Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 10:00 AM - 10:30 PM, varies by week, weekends and holidays rotate

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality CT and X-ray procedures in a fast-paced freestanding emergency room
Work independently to cover both CT and X-ray modalities, often as single staff coverage
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging exams
Collaborate with emergency department staff to prioritize patient care
Maintain accurate documentation in Meditech and Sectra systems
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and infection control standards

Qualifications

Current ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT) and Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
Valid CPR certification (BLS)
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech, with X-ray proficiency
Ability to work independently and manage a busy imaging workload
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in CT and X-ray equipment operation, including GE Optima CT scanner and GE portable X-ray
Strong understanding of anatomy and positioning for optimal imaging
Familiarity with electronic health records (Meditech) and PACS (Sectra)
Ability to handle high-acuity patients and acute stroke protocols
Pediatric imaging experience preferred
