Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare patients for surgery with large-bore IV starts and thorough skin assessments
Assist anesthesia team with arterial line, central line, and epidural placements
Transport patients safely to the operating room and support induction and intubation
Perform precise positioning and skin prep to ensure optimal surgical outcomes
Administer medications accurately using BCMA technology and maintain excellent documentation
Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and interdepartmental teams in a fast-paced CV PreOp environment

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
Critical care experience strongly preferred
PreOp experience is a plus
Proficiency with Cerner documentation system
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

BCMA medication administration
Cerner electronic documentation
Critical care monitoring with GE Carescape
Fuji ultrasound operation
Excellent interdepartmental communication
Ability to work independently in high-acuity settings
