Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility while preserving dignity
Take and record vital signs and report changes promptly to nursing staff
Maintain accurate resident documentation and charting
Support safe transfers and positioning to prevent injury
Follow infection control procedures and maintain a clean care environment
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team

Qualifications

Active CNA certification valid in Pennsylvania
Completion of an accredited CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work an 8-hour shift

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of an approved CNA certification program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong person-centered care and bedside manner
Familiarity with ADLs, vital signs, and basic clinical observations
Good documentation and communication skills
Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures
Team player who can collaborate with nursing and support staff
