Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating shifts including every weekend, 40 hours per week (mix of 8 and 12 hour shifts)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate daily care to residents in a long-term care setting
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
Monitor vital signs and report changes to nursing staff promptly
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Collaborate with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver top-notch patient care
Document care accurately and ensure compliance with facility policies

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in the state of Hawaii (must be certified via Prometric)
Minimum 4 years of experience as a CNA in long-term care
Active BLS/BCLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, and ATT certifications
Current state license – must be active and in good standing
Willingness to work rotating shifts including every weekend and holidays
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in long-term care nursing assistant duties and patient safety protocols
Knowledge of infection control and standard precautions
Great organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
