Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct care to residents, supporting dignity and comfort
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, toileting and mobility)
Monitor and record vital signs and changes in resident condition accurately
Communicate important observations and concerns to the nursing team
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow infection control practices
Document care and interventions clearly and promptly in resident records
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families through respectful interactions

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required)
Local to Camden, ME — this is a local contract assignment
Previous CNA experience preferred but new grads who are eager to learn are welcome
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered mindset
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding (standard for clinical roles)

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred; completion of an accredited CNA program required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Basic vital signs measurement and recording
Infection control, safe transfer and mobility techniques
Accurate documentation and charting of care provided
Good time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Collaborative communication with nursing staff and care teams
