Location: Santa Maria, California

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with call coverage from 3:30 PM - 7:00 AM and every other weekend call from 3:30 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a variety of Cath Lab and IR procedures including left and right heart catheterizations, STEMIs, ICDs, pacemakers, and peripheral interventions
Assist with IR cases such as venous access placements, port-a-caths, fistulas, biliary tubes, nephrostomy tubes, and IVC filter placements
Support EP lab procedures including ablations and device implantations when needed
Float between Cath Lab, IR, and EP lab to support the full spectrum of cardiac and vascular care
Collaborate with cardiologists and the care team during on-call hours to deliver timely, life-saving interventions

Qualifications

Active RCIS or ARRT certification required
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab or IR experience
EP lab experience preferred
Travel experience preferred
Ability to take call with 30-minute response time

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner and Xper systems
Strong understanding of Cath Lab, IR, and EP procedures
Comfortable working with Phillips telemetry and ventilator equipment
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Flexible and adaptable to floating between multiple specialty areas
