Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4-10 hour day shifts with night/weekend call rotation

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub for diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
Support electrophysiology studies and device implants with precision and expertise
Prepare and maintain sterile fields and equipment, upholding the highest infection control standards
Monitor patient vitals and hemodynamics during procedures, reacting quickly to changes
Collaborate with cardiologists, EP specialists, and the nursing team to deliver exceptional care

Qualifications

At least 3 years of hands-on experience in both Cath Lab and Electrophysiology
Certification: RCES, RCIS, or ARRT (RT) with VI or CI credential
Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association
Willingness to travel and commit to a 13-week assignment (75-mile radius rule applies)

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures
Proficiency in sterile technique and aseptic practices
Knowledge of contrast administration and radiation safety
Strong EKG interpretation and hemodynamic monitoring skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced procedural environment
