Location: Gardner, MA

Start Date: 07-13-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varying shifts, 20-22 hours per week, every 3rd weekend and holiday, work week Monday through Sunday

Hours per Week: 20

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Respond immediately to critical events like code blue, code red, and code 100, ensuring appropriate follow-up
Evaluate and adjust staffing levels continuously to maintain the highest level of patient care
Function as a clinical and administrative resource for nursing staff, providing consultation and education
Complete employee performance evaluations and assist with conflict resolution among staff, physicians, and patients
Advocate for patients, families, and staff, supporting rights and facilitating communication
Maintain operations of other departments during non-operating hours, acting as an administrative resource

Qualifications

Associate's degree in Nursing required
Current RN registration in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
AHA ACLS certification required
Previous management or leadership experience
Three to four years of acute care experience preferred

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Strong leadership attributes and decision-making skills
Ability to handle and follow up on critical events
Clinical expertise to provide consultation and education
Conflict resolution and mediation skills
Ability to work varying shifts and weekends
