Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide skilled speech-language pathology evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy to skilled nursing facility residents
- Document clinical progress thoroughly and handle FMLA-related paperwork as needed
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy teammates, and families to support resident goals
- Float between assigned sites professionally and maintain continuity of care
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement
Qualifications
- Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings; 1-3 years experience preferred
- Comfortable supporting FMLA processes and related documentation
- Willingness and ability to float between Sevierville and Knoxville sites
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in SLP evaluation and treatment planning for adult/geriatric populations
- Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with SNF clinical workflows
- Knowledge of FMLA requirements and experience completing associated forms
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with families
- Time management skills for split-site assignments and varying caseloads
