Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech-language pathology evaluations and create individualized treatment plans
• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based therapy to skilled nursing facility residents
• Document clinical progress thoroughly and handle FMLA-related paperwork as needed
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy teammates, and families to support resident goals
• Float between assigned sites professionally and maintain continuity of care
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement

Qualifications

• Active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in speech-language pathology
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility (SNF) settings; 1-3 years experience preferred
• Comfortable supporting FMLA processes and related documentation
• Willingness and ability to float between Sevierville and Knoxville sites
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in SLP evaluation and treatment planning for adult/geriatric populations
• Proficient documentation skills and familiarity with SNF clinical workflows
• Knowledge of FMLA requirements and experience completing associated forms
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate with families
• Time management skills for split-site assignments and varying caseloads
