Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide expert speech therapy services across both acute care and inpatient rehab units
- Conduct bedside swallow evaluations to ensure safe patient nutrition
- Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
- Deliver personalized therapy plans that help patients regain communication and swallowing abilities
- Document care using Meditech while making a real difference in diverse patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Missouri state SLP license required
- Minimum 2 years of speech therapy experience
- Comfortable working in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Speech Therapy expertise across the continuum of care
- Bedside swallow evaluation skills
- Familiarity with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
- Ability to manage a shared caseload between acute and rehab units
- Flexibility to cover both settings as needed
