Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating weekends
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver impactful speech therapy services across both acute care and inpatient rehab units
- Perform essential bedside swallow evaluations to support patient recovery
- Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team in a level 1 trauma and comprehensive stroke center
- Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced environment
- Document patient progress using Meditech while ensuring high-quality outcomes
Qualifications
- Active Missouri state SLP license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience in speech therapy
- Comfortable working in both acute care and inpatient rehab settings
- Experience with bedside swallow evaluations preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with TIMS equipment and Meditech documentation
- Skilled in acute care and inpatient rehabilitation speech therapy
- Knowledge of swallow evaluations and video swallow studies
- Ability to manage a shared caseload across multiple units
- Adaptable to floating between acute and rehab environments
