Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM with call requirement through the night

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist with a variety of interventional radiology procedures including embolization, y-90, peripheral interventions, trauma cases, drain placements, biopsies, and spine work
Support stroke thrombectomy, neuro coiling, and diagnostic cerebral cases
Collaborate with nurses and radiologists to deliver exceptional patient care
Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment such as Philips biplanes and GE single-plane systems
Maintain accurate documentation using MAC Lab during procedures

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months of current IR Tech experience
Active BLS certification
ARRT (R) certification
Active Kansas state licensure
Preferred: Prior stroke experience and experience traveling to large trauma facilities

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with interventional radiology equipment and procedures
Strong ability to handle stressful cases with a positive outlook
Flexible and adaptable to change
Excellent patient care and communication skills
