Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, including every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory care to a diverse patient population from neonates to geriatrics in a Level II trauma center
Operate advanced ventilators including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and high-flow systems like Airvo and V-60
Cover all areas of the facility including NICU, ICU, medical, surgical, and cardiac units
Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to deliver tailored treatment plans
Make independent clinical judgments and adapt quickly to changing patient needs
Support patients and families with compassion and clear communication

Qualifications

Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
Valid North Dakota state license
Minimum 1 year of NICU experience is a must
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with ventilator management including PB 840, PB 980, Hamilton C1, and MR1
Experience with high-flow oxygen therapy via Airvo and V-60 Respironics
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working across multiple units and patient age groups
Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
