Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional respiratory care to adults, pediatrics, and neonates across the facility
Draw arterial blood gases and perform EKGs to support accurate patient assessment
Assist with intubations and manage ventilators, BiPAP, CPAP, and high-flow oxygen therapy
Collaborate with hospitalists and intensivists to deliver timely, life-saving interventions
Rotate through weekend and holiday coverage to ensure continuous patient support

Qualifications

Active Kansas Respiratory Therapist license
RRT or CRT credential
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
At least 1 year of recent respiratory therapy experience
Comfortable working independently as the sole RT on shift

Knowledge & Skills

Respiratory Therapy procedures and protocols
ABG sampling and analysis
EKG performance and interpretation
Hamilton ventilators and Vapotherm high-flow systems
Adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations
