Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver expert ventilator and BiPAP management to patients in critical care and emergency settings
- Perform aerosol treatments and support advanced procedures such as intubation and arterial line insertion
- Assist with bedside bronchoscopy to enhance patient outcomes
- Collaborate daily with nursing and interdisciplinary teams during unit rounding
- Rotate through all inpatient units and two 10-bed ICUs to broaden clinical experience
- Utilize cutting-edge equipment including Puritan Bennett 980 ventilators and Vapotherm to provide top-tier care
Qualifications
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license in Florida
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience in critical care or emergency settings
- Comfortable working with ventilators, BiPAP, and advanced respiratory equipment
