Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients recovering in our 44-bed Acute Inpatient Rehab unit
Administer medications and perform essential med-surgical nursing tasks that directly impact patient healing
Collaborate with a dedicated team of RNs, LPNs, techs, and support staff to deliver exceptional rehab outcomes
Utilize specialized equipment including Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEGs, trachs, and wound care tools to support patient recovery
Document care accurately in our EMR system while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Virginia or compact license
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
SNF background strongly preferred
Med-Surgical or Telemetry experience is a plus
BLS certification and ability to work 12-hour shifts

Knowledge & Skills

Strong med pass and basic med-surgical nursing skills
Comfortable with Hoyer lifts, IVs, PEGs, trachs, peritoneal dialysis, and wound care
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Familiarity with EMR documentation
Ability to maintain patient ratios of 5-6:1 with tech support of 10-15:1
